As a participant of the DIT you can choose, whether you want to complete the tour from Città di Castello to Rome by canoe/kayak/SUP or on foot*. One day before the official start of the DIT 2026 you also could participate in a preliminary stage from San Sepolcro to Città di Castello on your own.

*Hiking is offered from 25th to 29th April. Please think of off-road equipment (solid shoes, rain jacket, etc.).

Besides this, you also could follow the descent by your own bicycle. The organizer does not provide any guide for those bicycle-trips, but will be happy to assist you by organizing a minibus shuttle.
